Fit for life diet

I want to talk to you about something that all Americans have a big issue with. The term “diet” always seems to be a negative term when people actually talk about it.  Well I think that if you want a fit for life diet you have to look at food from a totally different mindset.  To me you have to look at food from the aspect of I am going to enjoy it, but at the same time I am not going to devour it.  If you really want a fit for life diet you have to be very self aware of

what you are eating.

I think that a lot of people just mindlessly put food into their mouths without even thinking about it. I know that I can be guilty of making to much popcorn and sitting in front of the tv and just eating it until it is gone.   It seems as though you just keep eating out of habit or even because  you are bored.  That is where you need to nix that habit as soon as you can.  You mind works in funny ways, if you do the same thing all the time (like making food and watching tv), your mind will think that it is necessary to do that every time you have that action.

What you have to do is start breaking those bad habits and form a fit for life diet. Something that will put you on the right path to looking better, feeling better and having more energy.  Food really is your fuel, and if you put the right fuel inside of your body you will get the right results. I suggest that you replace your junk food with healthier items. For example, instead of ice cream, instead get some fruit.  You would be surprised how satisfying a good fruit can be and it will be so much better for you than some fatty ice cream.

Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy things like ice cream. But if  you want to look and feel better you have to be smart about what you are eating. I think that you should try to eat things like that in moderation and try to sick to healthier alternatives as much as possible. I promise you once you get in the habit of making a fit for life diet, you will be amazed at the results. It really is all about making the positive changes in your life that will get you the best results in the long run.

Action Plan
