Today I would like to go over how important it is for you to have the right attitude, not only for working out but for everything that you do in life. Not enough of us take the time to really be thankful for what we have and all the opportunities that present themselves. I am included in that group of people that need to be show more gratification for how lucky I am. Now I am not trying to sound preachy here or anything but it seems like people often times only get passionate when they are complaining about something. Maybe we need to start looking at things from a different perceptive?
Trying to look at things differently is exactly what my goal is throughout my life. Everyday when I pray, instead of asking God for things I want, I tell him all the things I am grateful for. Since I have been doing this, my life has gotten 10x better. When you base your life around optimism and gratitude, great things are going to happen to you. It is not hard to think of things everyday that you should be thankful for. Let’s taking working out as an example, I hear people that have been working out tell me how they are not where they want to be or they wish they looked better. What I usually do is remind them of how far they have come and how much better they look and feel from before they started. Sometime people just need to be reminded of what they have accomplished rather than what they have not.
If your goal is to always be making yourself better a person in every way possible, then make sure that you are always thanking God for what you have. It is almost crazy how much better your life will get when you realize how great you have it and fortunate you really are. I read an article the other day and something in there really made an impact in my life. You never see any successful cynics. The people that are really successful in life (faith, family, health, good job) are always the ones that know that great things are going to happen to them because they expect to do well and are grateful because of it.
As a Beachbody Coach I try my best to always stay positive and do everything that I can to make sure people know that I will be there for them if they need help. Most of the time it is just a change in perspective that will make the biggest difference in how well someone does in a particular task . Taking the time remind someone of all they have done and what they have accomplished will usually create a massive shift in their attitude. If you are having any type of trouble, please feel free to contact me as I will do everything I can to help you.
