If someone was to ask me one thing that I have learned from all of this experience (as far as what is the most important thing that they need to know with their diet) I would tell them that they need to stay away from any white foods. I have heard this fact from several dietitians and doctors. Also with my background in pharmaceuticals, I learned a lot about what can cause Type II Diabetes. I have personally heard of many p
eople that just stayed away from all foods white and completely made them feel better than they have before.
Let me clarify what I mean when I say that it is important to stay away from all the white foods. Many of the white foods would be white flour, white pasta, white sugar, white rice just to name a few. What it means for you, is that you will need to stay away from things like the white breads. Things like this need to be eliminated from your diet now. I am even talking about the foods that say “enriched white flour” , this is basically white bread with a bow on it. Totally fake, it still has a lot of the crap in it that you do not need.
During my training to sell pharmaceutical diabetic medications, I learned that carbohydrates are one of the main culprits that can contribute to getting Type II. What basically happens is that you eat these things and then they can turned into glucose which then gets turned into belly fat. It is a vicious cycle that many people go through. The unfortunate thing is that many of us have an addiction to carbohydrates that can be tough to kick.
What I tell a lot of people when it comes to keep their white sugar down is that they first need to replace it with whole grains and other high fiber foods. This is important because that extra fiber you are getting will actually help you lose weight and provide a nice list of health benefits. Now having said that, if you really want to get cut up, you have to try to eat all of your dry carbohydrates before 1pm. The less carbohydrates that you eat in the afternoon/evening the better. Even with the whole grains, eat them early and make sure you are stay consistent with it.
I can say this because myself personally when I want to lose any extra belly fat that I might have, I just cut my carbohydrates as much as possible. If you were to take one thing from this it is that you do not need any white foods. STAY AWAY FROM WHITE FOODS!!! You don’t need those sugars in your body. I want you to get the results that you crave, and it all starts with what you are eating. It all starts with fact that you have to admit that your lifestyle might now be as great as you think it is. The food you eat is the fuel for your body.
