Shaun T’s Insanity Workout is not for the faint of heart. If you have not tried any other workout before and if you are terribly out of shape, then this workout will be way too much to be your introduction. It is not really a good idea to overly exert yourself with a workout program that is intended for people who are already in a good shape. Although I am not saying that this workout should exclusively be for the already-fit, you have to make sure that you are up for a difficult exercise. And even Shaun T himself made it clear that his workout program is not for lazy people, and nor is it for people with a weak mind.
You need to know at least the basics of working out in order to find out if a certain workout is going to work for you. Shaun T’s workout requires high energy and is considered as an explosive workout that has been a very effective tool for losing weight for a lot of people – however, that does not necessarily mean that this workout is for everyone. It will make great results for some people, but there will be a select few who were not able to read about the Insanity Workout will just find it extremely difficult to perform and fulfill. But if you are really determined to follow Shaun T’s footsteps, try first a less intense workout and work your way up to Insanity.
The moment you decide that you are ready to commit and try the workout, just make sure that you are sure that it is the right one for you, mentally and physically. There are a lot of options that you can choose from, so make sure that you have done your homework and that you are 100% certain that the Insanity is the best one for you.
When you get the workout DVD, it will not magically cut down your fat. There are a lot of things that you should do in order to achieve the best possible results from the workout. If you are really determined to lose weight through the Insanity, then you should follow certain rules like –
Control What You Eat – try to control your portions and eat many small meals throughout the day. But if you really want to lose that weight, Shaun T’s workout will demand that you eat healthy – why not stick to eating the whole foods like vegetables, fruits and the lean meats? What you will realize is that when you start eating the right way, the fat you start to come off way quicker than you realized.
Drink Plenty of Water – the Insanity program will require you to move and sweat a lot, which is why it is advised that while on the program, you drink plenty of water in order to replenish the lost body fluids.
