Lately I have had quite a few people ordering Shakeology from me and I they seem to be really loving it. The best part about it right away is the taste factor. You can choose from Chocolate or Greenberry, they both have a great taste and mix well with other fruits. People are often really surprised at how well it tastes and comment how the Chocolate tastes like a DQ malt and a the Greenberry can taste something like as Orange Julius. It all really depends on what you put in it and how much of that you choose to put in it. I will often buy several different kinds of fruits like raspberries, blueberry’s, strawberry’s and oranges and mix then together in a crazy blend.
Usually when I buy the fruit it is in a frozen blend and so it will last for quite some time. I make sure that I buy the fruit that has no added sugar because fruit actually has quite a bit of sugar in it already and God knows that we don’t need any more sugar in our diets. Something else that we all know is very important in our diets in the fact that we get enough water. Water is so important because we need it to rehydrate and replenish after a good old sweaty workout. The magic of something like Shakeology is that you can add more ice and water and get a lot more out of it to fill you up more and also to feed your body with those great nutrients. People often mistake being dehydrated for hunger and this is actually a great way to alleviate this.
What I usually tell people with something like Shakeology is that the best time to do it is when you are done with a workout and feel your most hungry. I will add lots of ice and water to the mix just because I am 190 lbs and I know I need at least 100 oz of water each day. That actually can be more depending upon how hard and long your workout is. the most important thing that you realize is that you need to stay hydrated and the best way to do that is with a lot of water.

Honestly, I am no more an expert at this stuff than you are. Anyone can do what I am doing, the most important thing you realize is that you have all this inside of you and it is just waiting to come out. It’s the little things like making sure people are drinking enough water and taking care of themselves the rights ways that are what makes a huge difference. As I said, anyone can do what I am doing. Jesse – You’re right about using frozen fruit for Shakeology shakes. I like to use frozen fruit for a few reasons. I live in an area that doesn’t have fresh fruit all year long. Frozen fruit is frozen shortly after the fruit is picked which seals in nutrients and flavor. If you like berries, frozen berries are often cheaper than fresh berries. And finally, I like the thick consistency that it brings to my shake. Yum! Drink to your health.
